Last Saturday the Winebus passengers enjoyed a superb lunch at Genaro Restaurant in Fuenterrobles. This restaurant offers one of the most outstanding culinary selections from Utiel-Requena region. The service is really professional, having a courteous waitress during the whole lunch, that brought “patatas bravas” (potatoes seasoned with red paprika with garlic sauce) inside an original flowerpot.
For the second starter she brought a Valencia salad with tomato and tuna that served as a refresh for the guests of that hot day. All these tapas were paired with a white wine from Utiel Requena. For the main dishes the restaurant offered several options: refreshing gazpacho (cold vegetable soup made of tomatoes, cucumber, onion and olive oil), traditional ajoarriero (tasty mashed potatoes with garlic, cod and boiled eggs) or picantones (roasted poussin garnished with sliced French fries) and for a great end homemade desserts –strawberry cheesecake or chocolate pastry – wonderful temptations! That was a perfect touch for an extraordinary experience for the senses.
Do not miss the Winebus! Every Saturday a great experience!
