Discover the authentic Valencia wine region on a Private Valencia Wine Tour where I take you to the heart of DO Utiel-Requena to visit two carefully selected wineries, taste local varieties such as Bobal grape and Merseguera, and enjoy a traditional village lunch, all while sharing a complete 360º perspective of the region’s wine, culture and heritage.

As we leave Valencia behind, I'll introduce you to the history of viticulture in the region and explain why native varieties such as the Bobal and Merseguera have become symbols of the area's identity. You'll also discover how traditional method sparkling wines have found their place alongside these historic vineyards.

Our day begins at a carefully selected winery in Requena, where we'll taste four wines while exploring the connection between wine, the medieval town, its silk trade and its remarkable underground wine caves of Requena. Rather than simply describing aromas, I'll help you understand how history, geography and local culture shape every glass.

We then continue to a family-owned winery surrounded by vineyards near Utiel. Walking through the vines and visiting the winery offers the perfect opportunity to understand the influence of climate, soils and winemaking decisions before enjoying another guided tasting of four wines.

Lunch is served in a traditional village restaurant run by local women, where seasonal, kilometre-zero ingredients and homemade recipes reflect the culinary heritage of the region. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
