This is a learning activity aimed at discerning different oils through tasting them and discovering their optimum culinary uses. We will discover how to use the right oil to enhance the flavors of each dish; you will explore the taste-enhancing possibilities of extra virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil, and refined oils. Learn in our Olive Oil tasting and taste some of the best olive oils discovering the world of olive oil aromas from an expert in the same way as a professional would do it.

In this tasting we will teach you how to differentiate a Virgin Oil from an Extra Virgin, which are the unfiltered or cold pressed oils. We will explain why some olives are black and others are green, or why some oils sting and others don't; as well as a lot of doubts that you surely have and don't know how to solve.

Did you know that 7 of the 10 most awarded olive oils are Spanish and that there are more than 200 varieties of olive trees that offer us the widest range of olive juices in the world? And in Valencia we have some native varieties such as Serrana de Espadán, Villalonga, Blanqueta, Farga, Changlot Real and Alfafara.
